We wanted to share some of our favorite new hot spots in Chicago. Whether you're looking for a place to eat, drink, shop or just take a break from the craziness of NeoCon, here are some great suggestions.

Shop

SPACE 519 is a concept store in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, just off of the Magnificent Mile. Owners Lance Lawson and Jim Wetzel curate an assortment of unique and hard to find items across a broad range of categories. They focus on a finely edited assortment of women’s apparel and accessories, men’s accessories, green apothecary, inspired home goods, as well as unique books and gifts.

Eat

Don't pass up the opportunity to eat what is considered one of the best burgers in America at The Loyalist. The patties are a mix of short rib, chuck and ground bacon, the pickles are housemade and topped with American cheese and pickled onion. Whether you're looking for something light or hearty, sweet or savory, The Loyalist offers a la carte fare, with fresh ingredients sourced from a farm just 20 miles south of Chicago.
