Chicago’s AAA Four Diamond Hotel - theWit Hotel is more than a hotel - it's a new experience. At the famed intersection of State & Lake, theWit is just footsteps away from the Magnificent Mile, Theatre District and Museum Campus, not to mention the infamous State Street. This downtown Chicago boutique hotel has become renowned for its jagged lightning-bolt motif creased on its 27-story glass façade of the building, and angular roof, a nod to the reputation of the Windy City. Home to ROOF, one of the Top 10 Roof Bars in the US and Chicago’s hottest destination, theWit is the first major building by architect Jackie Koo, 45, who previously worked for Chicago's DeStefano+Partners. Guests scintillate their taste buds in cibo matto, the Northern Italian fine dining experience, or State and Lake, the American Gastro Pub. Like the building, the interiors are a visual feast. Beverly Hills-based Cheryl Rowley Design (know for its work with Kimpton Hotels) took the lead on rooms and common areas while Atlanta-based The Johnson Studio was commissioned to create the interiors of the hotels two restaurants and roof top bar. Bringing guests the ultimate theater experience in our 40 seat SCREENing room or inviting them to unwind in a peaceful retreat in Spa@theWit, the space is marked by a sense of unconventional wisdom and subtle whimsy.

The three-story 193,000-square-foot laboratory and office building on Chicago's Goose Island opened its doors in May, 2005. This state-of-the-art LEED Gold certified facility helps in creating consumer-driven innovation in Wrigley's products, packaging and processes.  Measures taken for certification by the Wrigley/Transwestern on-site team included fully implementing a building operations and maintenance plan which met the LEED requirements, maximizing the efficiency of the highly energy efficient heating and cooling system and utilization of the combination white and green roofs that were part of base building construction to reduce heat island effect and storm water runoff.  In addition they increased outdoor air intake to insure high quality indoor air and reduced water use to 20% below industry standards.  The building provides space and resources for the company's team of scientists, designers, technicians, and marketers to continue creating high-quality confectionery products. Flexible office space and laboratories designed with collaboration in mind provide modular furniture and equipment to facilitate communication and sharing among the disciplines.
