NEOCON 2010: A NEW DECADE OF EDUCATION

NeoCon® offers the most comprehensive conference schedule in the industry, with more than 150 CEU-accredited seminars and industry association forums, giving architects, interior designers and facility managers the opportunity to discover the newest trends and techniques from some of the top-names in the industry.

NeoCon programs are reviewed and selected by industry experts of the 2010 NeoCon Program Advisory Committee.

Continuing Education Credits

MMPI submits all 60-minute seminars for continuing education accreditation. To receive credit for sessions you attend, pick up a CEU, LU, LEU or Certification Maintenance card from the door monitor located at each seminar room. Read the instructions on each card as to what you must do to comply. Have it stamped by the door monitor after the session and/or follow the instructions on the card to report your attendance and sessions you attended. Be sure you pick up the correct paper work for your profession.

Interior Designers

Learn and earn 0.1 CEU for every session that you attend. All NeoCon® 2010, one-hour sessions are recognized by ASID, IDC, IDEC and IIDA for CEU credit. Some associations offer CEUs for their association forum and will be listed on the CEU card. 

Architects

Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. is an “AIA Registered Provider.” Each of the NeoCon® World’s Trade Fair 2010 one-hour session attended result in 1 Learning Unit (LU). Certificates are available on-site.

Facility Managers

NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2010 programming has been submitted for CFM Maintenance Points. The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Education Department will review all programs for CFM maintenance requirements and the awarded 1.0 CFM Maintenance points per hour of instruction is pending. 

Lighting Designers

All lighting programs presented under the Light [LT] educational track have been registered with NCQLP for LEU Credit for the Lighting Certified (LC) professional. One LEU is assigned for each 60 minute lighting program you attend. Certificates are available on-site.

Council for Interior Design Accreditation

To make a tax-deductible contribution to the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA, formerly FIDER), please complete the online seminar registration at neocon.com. CIDA is the independent, non-profit quality assurance agency for interior design higher education in North America. MMPI is pleased to join CIDA in the “Partners in Quality” campaign. Fees

All NeoCon one-hour seminar sessions are $50 each if pre-registered by June 4 and $60 if registered on site.

Association Forums vary in fees.
