Interior designers are not immune to this phenomenon as clients and potential clients are overwhelmed, by choice or not, by the variety of design options and do-it-yourself philosophies available today.

Maximize Your Investment at NeoCon - Take the EDAC Exam On Site!

NeoCon attendees have the opportunity to take the Evidence-Based Design Accreditiation and Certification (EDAC) examination on-site at the conference. EDAC certified individuals must demonstrate a clear understanding of concepts and the ability to use an evidence-based design process to meet and/or exceed the recommended minimum requirements. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam, which covers five sections:

  • Evidence-Based Design for Healthcare
  • Research
  • Pre-design
  • Design
  • Construction and Occupancy

Walk Ins are welcome. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance and bring a photo id. The exam fee is $256.50 and applications must be submitted by May 24, 2011. Download the exam application. Candidates who register to take the exam on site will receive a free voucher to the key-note address on Wednesday morning.
